Review of Mutant Chronicles (2008) by Lohan R — 21 May 2009
This was a different movie. The premise is that a super solider and a religious leader lead a team of people to take on an alien machine sent from space that turns people into mutants (zombies with a one-knife hand that don't eat people, just kill them).
Yah, I'm not sure why I watched this either. I have nothing against Thomas Jane, Ron Pearlman, or John Malkovitch, but this movie was dumb. The opening war scene was tight, but other than that...it was just guns, explosions, blood, guts, mutants, and the f-word.
Yah, I just explained the entire movie to you. The cinematography had the "Sin City" feel to it, but that was the only thing that kept me watching. If you enjoy a dumb sci-fi movie with 3 wasted talents, than this is your ideal pick.
Overall, I would have rather not wasted my time learning of the Mutant Chronicles.
