Review of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) by Giorgos K — 20 Mar 2018
With an all-star ensemble cast, I expected more acting depth & dedication from the big names.
Branagh's shots are beautiful, almost dreamy-like & his depiction of Poirot is brilliant but the overall film fails to adapt a serious tone that the famous story should, in my opinion, have.
As a result, the film feels more like reading a bed-time fairy-tale than it feels reading a detective, thriller novel.
