Review of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) by Northcoastchad — 28 Nov 2017
Kenneth Branagh's portrayal of Hercule Poirot is by far the best part of this adaptation. Yet, in spite of solid performances by the rest of the cast and stunning visuals, Murder on the Orient Express is somehow less than the sum of its parts.
While I enjoyed it, the story simply leaves little room for the actors or director to maneuver and provides little emotional consequence to the final act.
