Review of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) by Dawdlingpoet — 26 Nov 2021
This film features good cinematography, some nice landscape shots and a very decent cast but it didn't entirely stand out to me. The story is a classic and its a fairly atmospheric watch. Its not a bad film as such but it didn't grab me as a great one either. I like that it has a few sub plots and while the plot pace is slow, the element of mystery kept me watching. I thought Branagh gave a relatively decent performance as Poirot too.
I'd say its worth a watch, yes.
