Review of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) by Regan B — 11 Feb 2018

Quite superb crime-thriller. The score is simply excellent, the characters meticulously created and the cast, I mean come on. Extremely clever in the way that it tells a legendary story, one that has its intelligence shine throughout, not only in the main character but in the rest of the characters throughout.

The only negatives for me is that at times it feels overly staged and false, perhaps deliberately but for me it didn't work. The action scene was another that felt forced in and poorly executed. All in all, fantastic movie but not one without its flaws.
