Review of Murder, My Sweet (1944) by Michael C — 30 Jun 2007
My favourite film noir, and one of my all time favourite movies. Powell's Marlowe is the real thing - a hard case on the outside, but with a soft centre. He makes him believable and human (watch him play hop scotch in the Grayle mansion!).
This movies also has some of the snappiest dialogue ever. Oh, and clare Trevor is fantastic too.
