Review of Murder, My Sweet (1944) by Jason C — 24 Aug 2009
I don't know if I'm just in the right mood or something, but I have been lovin' noirs lately. Here's another good one. I don' t want to say that Dick Powell is a better Philip Marlowe then Bogart but damn if it isn't pretty close.
Edward Dmytryk's direction is great, particularly those segment where Marlowe has been drugged. Good stuff.
