Review of Murder, My Sweet (1944) by Kestutis K — 18 May 2010
An outstanding and often experimentally shot film (the drug sequence for example) from Edward Dmytryk, the core of the film hinges on Dick Powell's portrayal of Philip Marlowe, and he nails it with the right combination of wit, charm and stubborness.
Not well known, but definitely one of the hidden gems of film noir.
