It helps if you've seen all the old detective movies this spoofs from the Thin Man series to Charlie Chan. Peter Sellers is excellent as per usual, but Peter Falk definitely steals the show and was rewarded with his own spinoff (The Cheap Detective).
Hilariously ridiculous from beginning to end.
