You could not make this is today's PC climate. Peter Sellers genius Mr. Wang would be offensive. (I'm waiting to see how Downey as a african american man will be received in Tropic Thunder) But back in the day when everyone wasn't so damn sensitive, you got terrific spoofs like this.
A witty script parody of the mystery genre and a cast of incredible talent. Surprisingly, the comedy is stands up to the test of time because most of it is based on clever word play. "Bensonmum" will always be funny!
