Goofy send up of mystery novels and detectives, including Sam Spade, Miss Marple, Charlie Chan, Nick & Nora Charles and others. The cast, which includes Peter Falk, David Niven, Maggie Smith, Peter Sellers and Alec Guinness, are entertaining and charming, but the film fails to be as funny as it's initial concept.
Still, the game cast and good atmosphere make it worth watching.
