Review of Mumford (1999) by Cris F — 12 Jan 2005
I just finished watching this little gem of a movie for the fifth time. Anyone looking for a feel good film should check out Mumford. Not sure why did not get a better overall rating. There are interesting, likeable characters.
A bit of a surprise about 1/2 hour into the film. The two leads give good performances and they are supported by many fine character actors. Two of whom I always enjoy seeing in a film are Jason Lee and Alfre Woodward.
