Review of Mrs. Miniver (1942) by Adrian B — 16 Mar 2010
This film, along with 101 Dalmatians and To Catch a Thief, was completely rejected by the "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die" list. It is a very good film. The acting is great, particularily Greer Garson and Teresa Wright, and the sets are very good.
The visual effects are incredible with the planes bombing and crashing along with the after effects of the bombs' devastation. A forgotten masterpiece.
