Review of Mr. Turner (2014) by Parrish H — 03 Jan 2015
The legendary painter comes across as a right ****. Spall is the balls as the mumbling artist, as is Dorothy Atkinson as his long suffering maid. The story itself is uneventful but Mike Leigh's direction the performance of Spall, Atkinson and the costumes and sets makes this extremely watchable.
