Review of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) by Tomas H — 04 May 2008
It's a true piece of American history, but I prefer It's a Wonderful Life.
Can't escape the charm of Jefferson Smith though. In an age today where a population of Americans are chanting "change", this film rings frighteningly topical, and I certainly recommend this gem from 1939 - nearly 70 years ago.
