Anyone how is into politics or likes an underdog story should see this movie. The movie was banned at first when it came out. With actual congressmen saying that the movie misrepresented them. Although it's been nearly sixty years since it's release, the overall themes, message and morals have not dated.
Supported by a now legendary cast; James Stewart and Claude Rains. Mr. Smith Goes To Washington is will anger you as much is it will inspire you. A Frank Capra classic.
