Comedy The screenplay doesn't seem quite up to the level of talent. This classic family comedy, adapted from the novel by Edward Streeter, (James Stewart), who agrees to take his wife, Peggy (Maureen O'Hara), and their brood of children on vacation at the beach.
But what begins as a relaxing escape quickly blossoms into a four-alarm nightmare.
