Review of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2018) by Yash B — 07 Dec 2018

"Mowgli" has moments that are entertaining and visually dazzling. The problem feels that this story has been redone and redone well way too recently. Disney's 2016 live-action adaptation of "The Jungle Book" was a better movie than this.

I thought it was interesting to a see a slightly darker and violent version of this story, but I still thought, for the most part, it didn't include much that made it seem worth telling. If you're a fan of this story or its characters, you can check it out and still see some great visual effects and enjoy some of the entertaining moments.

It's just frustrating as the movie doesn't feel necessary so soon after an already great adaptation.
