Review of Mouchette (1967) by Evan K — 14 Nov 2008
Incredibly depressing, cynical film. It does some intelligent things with spectatorship and voyeurism, similar to, say, the films of Michael Haeneke, and its trailer by Godard is very well-done - a sort of essay on the film itself.
