Review of Moonraker (1979) by Thomas K — 29 Mar 2010
Well, I just started to get interested in this series, and I watched most of "Goldfinger" a couple nights ago (missed the beginning), and thought it was excellent. Then I watched this strange film through YouTube yesterday, and I have to admit, it was pretty absurd, but fun to watch all the same. The majority of the film takes place on Earth, and there were some good set pieces, like the centrifuge chamber scene, and the boat chase in Rio. I'm looking forward to watching more of these at some point...
3/5 stars.
(P.S.: I'm not sure which Bond I like better yet, between Sean Connery and Roger Moore, but for some reason, Connery seems more right for the part, though Roger Moore's all right, too.).
