Not a bad movie at all, the reviews surprise me. That said, it certainly could have used more monsters. I liked the dynamic of the americans who don't want to be there, versus the iraqis who don't want them there, plus the monsters wreaking havoc on both- an interesting take on how things wouldn't actually get too much better if the world was attacked.
That said, it's deep enough to keep you interested but not deep enough for you to care. Also, why did they make everybody Americans when they were clearly British?
