Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Chris B — 02 May 2011
A really powerful movie, with a heartbreaking performances by Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton. Not a movie that I'd enjoy watching again, but I'm glad I saw it the first time. Also includes one of the most depressing sex scenes (yes, depressing) in the history of cinema.
Berry definitely earned her Oscar for this.
