Review of Monsieur Hulot's Holiday (1953) by Richard D — 12 Mar 2008
It takes a while to get used to this, with its lack of a narrative, but once you get into it, and get used to Hulot, its a great film.
Beautifully shot, with a lovely, nostalgic, warm and humane feel, its impossible not to love this. The soundtrack's great too (if a little bit limited).
