Hilarious film with many memorable sequences. The firworks scene words cannot describe how funny it is. I like playtime, and Mon Oncle more but this is probably the best showcase of the Monsieur Hulot character.
The film is also very beautifully shot in B&W. One of those films that would look great in HD.
