Review of Monkey Business (1952) by Rick C — 01 Sep 2007
Howard Hawks last film with Cary Grant isn't quite on par with their great collaborations; HIS GIRL FRIDAY, ONLY ANGELS HAVE WINGS and BRINGING UP BABY but it is fine fun nonetheless. A screwball comedy about the a scientific forumala that holds the secret of youth, it offers Grant and Rogers ample material to show off their impeccable comedic talents.
If things do get a bit childish at times one must still admire the carefree abandon of the performances.
