Review of Monkey Business (1952) by Chris S — 14 Sep 2009
Watch this just to see Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers act like children and teenagers, Hugh Marlowe being tied up by a childish Cary Grant and a bunch of children, and a group of old men literally monkeying around.
Sure, the plot is way too farfetched even for a Hollywood film but who cares? It's screwball comedy. The film's delightful and doesn't try hard to achieve that. It's strange how they advertise this now as a Marilyn Monroe film when she only has such a minor role in this film.
