Review of Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) by Mvilardo C — 22 Feb 2009
A few plot holes and skipping around...it wouldn't have hurt to extend this movie to 2.5 or 3 hours. The cinematography is masterful, and the battle scenes are nothing short of epic. This movie was borderline classic, what hurt it was the lack of explanation of things sometimes.
But a very good piece of filmwork.
