Review of Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) by Goh K — 25 Feb 2009
Amazing cinematography & Mongolian sounds like Japanese/Korean. Being descended from the Altaic-Lake Baikal peoples (Mongolian/Japanese/Korean/northern migratory Chinese) myself, it's fascinating.
Genghis Khan (Temudjin) is of course a bloodthirsty warlord & Mongolian national hero but all nations were all created that way? Guess if the Axis Nations of WW2 had succeeded, there would be a different world order instead of the current one we're having.
For better or worse, who knows?
