Very much the Social Network of baseball statistics movies (of course such a genre exists...) - it plays loose with the 'true story' element but is engrossing and a pleasure to watch, which is possibly more important than reflecting reality too closely.
Pitt and Hill make a great double act and the flashbacks to Beane's own career bring the story to another level. Recommended.
