Review of Moneyball (2011) by Delia D — 19 Sep 2012
I must admit Moneyball was a fairly well made movie, but I think the focus, that of beating the system, got overshadowed by all those technical terms. All the baseball talk made me nod. On the other had, I should be grateful that it didn't turn on the waterworks.
Instead of doing that, it expressed the events in an objective and dignifying way that gave it a distinction from yet so many sports movies.
