Well, we see a disgruntled man who lost his nest egg on the stock market. Hello, hasn't he heard playing the stock market is like gambling at Vegas? Do Americans really put their money down without knowing how to play the game? Well, okay, they do.

So this movie is really a character study about the TV "market guru" and his producer and their on air repartee. The rest of the plot we've seen in countless other movies.
