Review of Mona Lisa (1973) by Tara S — 02 Apr 2010

Bob Hoskins plays a loveable hard man who takes to driving a hooker around hotels to ply her business. Hoskins is on fine form and makes for a main character you root for and like. Tyson is also good in her role as the tart with a heart and makes a great sparring partner for Hoskins.

I liked the grittiness of the film and the great British feel to it. Another British gem.
