Review of The Mist (2007) by Tara S — 29 Nov 2015
Must own. Yet another crazy Stephen King film, less on horror, more on human emotion that all started with Stand by Me. This film takes a few plot cues from Misery and most especially Dreamcatcher. This film in its typical Stephen King manner doesn't explain the cause of the problem, in this case the Mist or where the creatures came from. What this film does offer you is a dramatic thriller of sorts of how folks cope or cripple under intense conditions when they receive no real answers to their problems and they have to find their own solutions.
I discovered a new amazing quote from this film. And in general, one of the greatest things about this film is the dialogue. I agree with my friends on this one, this is a great film.
