Review of Modern Times (1936) by Spyros T — 05 Jul 2011
A very relative film for the time, It is well put together like most chaplin slapstick. The only disconnect is that I feel it plays like several small films with the same characters instead of one movie.
The message of hope and the social satire add to make the film enjoyable, but it is silent so you need to give it full attention if you plan on watching it.
