Review of Mississippi Burning (1988) by Edel B — 11 Dec 2008
I watched this in my American History course and was quite pleased. Gene Hackman was great for his part. He was great at playing the raw, brutal cop role. It depicted Mississippi during the civil right era very nicely.
It did a good job of capturing multiple points of view, especially the Mississippian views.
