Review of Miss Sloane (2016) by Farah R — 23 Jul 2017
A film that sits wholly on Jessica Chastain's shoulders and she elevates its political dullness with her captivating performance. Miss Sloan is difficult to keep up with and too wordy at times, but that never hinders the audience's ability to comprehend what is taking place nor the surprise at every plot-twist.
A drama it remains though and it's no secret that if it wasn't for Chastain, I imagine this movie would be unwatchable.
