Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Cubbiangelie M — 21 Oct 2016
A visual feast that embodies the unique style of Tim Burton but has a familiar flavor of being X-Men meets Edward Scissorhands meets Nightmare on Elm Street. Really great actors in it but not so much great acting, the dialogue always seems to feel a bit forced but deliberate.
Overall it was an entertaining unique experience in true Burton fashion. All that was missing was Helena Bonham Carter as Miss Peregrine, even though Eva Green did an OK job, I feel like this role was probably written for her before the break up.
