In a world of peculiarity come a thriller, action pact movie. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, starring Eva Green (Miss Peregrine), Ella Purnell (Emma), Asa Butterfield (Jacob), Lauren McCrostie (Olive), brings action in drama in a crazy peculiar world.

When Jacob Portman's grandfather dies mysteriously Jacob Portman goes to the island of peculiars, where he not only finds the kids and Miss Peregrine, he also finds out what killed his grandpa. The movie director Tim Burton, has also directed Alice in Wonderland (2010), Batman (1989), The Night Before Christmas (1993), and Frankenweenie (2012).

Overall, the movie was fantastic; Jacob Portman is an explorer that loves looking for adventure even if it can get him killed. This peculiar movie has combined action and drama in a fantastic way. Even though the peculiars have wonderful and amazing powers, there is no backstory on where they came and how they got their supernatural powers.

Where they born peculiar? Was it a science experiment gone wrong? What happened? Where did they come from? I just wish we had a little more back story about them. If you like this movie her are some related movies, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (David Yates), Fantastic Beast and Where to Hide Them (David Yates), and The Jungle Book (Jon Favreau).

I recommend this movie if you absolutely love drama and thriller. So pop the popcorn and hang out on the couch for some drama/thriller action.
