I loved the books and many of the actors in this movie. But I'm afraid the adapted screenplay left much to be desired. They needlessly changed many of the characters around, basically squished almost 3 books into 1 movie, and then created a paradox to make everything nice and tidy in the end.
The movie is okay but it is a letdown after the books.
