Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Andrew K — 11 Feb 2017
Tim Burton's X-men is a fitting description of this film. It isn't particularly exciting but it keeps the audience entertained by what it does offer. I found myself bored with many of the characters until Sam Jackson shows up in a role that deserved more screen time.
The story needed more fleshing out to be considered better. However I found plenty wrong with this movie I was entertained nonetheless. So final verdict is fun film that is good not great.
