Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Brendan N — 26 Dec 2016
Imaginative concept that fits Burtons visual style to a tea. The film is very dark in places and might be too much for little kids. The film has that grand design that Burton brings to life with a great cast.
The only real story lag is the villains who don't get a lot of time, I would've liked more understanding so we could feel the menace they represent. I liked the tone and the oddball characters and fingers crossed we get the next adventure from the book series.
