I've always liked this version a lot. After seeing it again, I think a few of the points used in the courtroom scenes were off target. However, Attenborough and Mara Wilson are great. The scene where Santa talks to the deaf girl chokes me up every time I watch it.
It is a must-see every Christmas for my family.
