Intriguing love-letter to the movies from Satoshi Kon. Full of gentle humour and warm characters, and with his trademark mixture of dreams and reality. However the dream-like structure doesn't get under the skin and reveal greater truths in quite the same way as Perfect Blue or the best of Paranoia Agent seemed to.
