This was my first Crawford film to watch, and I'm glad I did! I believe this is her best film of all, because it is not melodramatic like the others I have saw so far. My favorite scene is the classic staircase scene in which Mildred gets the taste slapped out of her mouth! An excellent film for the drama or Film Noir lover!
