Ari Aster is a talented cinematographer but should leave the script writing to someone else. This isn't an original story, it's been done before & better in The Wickerman 1973. This version has drugs added with cheap shock value gore & sex.
Grim, grisly and downright sickening. If you enjoy that kind of thing then be my guest, but this isn't for me.
