Review of Midnight Special (2016) by Paul B — 30 Mar 2016
I was going to write a longer review for this film but I put all my efforts into Batman v Superman so I'll just this was OK. Not great, not rubbish...just meh. I was totally indifferent to this film. The trailers made it out to be like Super 8 but it's not as exciting as that. The trundles along a leisurely pace, you're intrigued by the characters. The performance all good. It feels like a indie version of a sci-fi. Not quite sure who the audience for this film. The ending is quite anti-climatic.
