Review of Midnight Special (2016) by Steven M — 28 Apr 2016

I was really looking forward to this film and had a really hard time finding it. It barely came out in theaters. It's basically the story of a dad trying to get his son who has several unique powers to a certain point.

Its kind of like ET but with a little more mystery. This is a very slow burning kind of film with a lot of questions asked and a lot of questions left unanswered. Some will love this time of film but for me it was okay.

Too much is left unexplained and there just wasn't enough to keep me coming back for more. Overall its worth a rent especially if slow scifi films are something you like.
