Midnight Special offers us a unique movie going experience as the director Jeff Nichols makes us actually have to use our minds, he does not give us every piece of the puzzle but instead lets the audience connect the dots.
Brilliant acting and a great buildup combine to make this film one of the more profound movies I have seen in a while. 3.75/5.
