Review of Midnight Run (1988) by Alexander A — 29 May 2008

True story: I walked into the lecture theater where they were showing this at school thinking that they were going to be playing "The Shawshank Redemption", which I hadn't seen and knew nothing about other than it was supposed to be good. I walked in after the credits, and happily watched the rest of the movie thinking "Man, this is a pretty light-hearted movie to be taken so seriously by so many people, but oh well...".

Then I lived the next few weeks of my life thinking that "The Shawshank Redemption" was a goofy crime comedy.

That was fun while it lasted.
