Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Konrad R — 12 Oct 2008
I HATED this movie. It managed to drag me right in and experience the misery with the main character, and for that it's brilliant - a classic. But why did I ever pay good money to feel depressed? Pink Floyd's The Wall and that Scandinavian whatsisname's movie with Björk in it did the same for me.
Fuck 'em all.
